Our climate ambitions

Never before has the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) been as emphatically clear as in its Sixth Assessment Report: the world community is facing dramatic climate change due to human activities. In sum, these changes will pose major challenges, and we take this very seriously.

As a producer of renewable energy, our desire to do what we can to realise a zero-emission society in line with the needs outlined in the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report is at the very heart of our business. This means that our top priority is to continue to provide clean, cost-effective energy in a sustainable way.

All of Aneo’s energy production will be renewable, and we will be a driving force in the development of green energy.

In addition to the services we provide to customers, we have specific goals for our own business. 

• Aneo’s main goal is to be climate neutral by 2040
• By 2030, we will have reduced our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 55%, and will continuously work to drastically reduce Scope 3 emissions.
